1963 - wreck one story concrete block Flower Shop (or was it Holke?).  Erect one story service station (Standard Oil).

Description: 1 story flat roof Service Station and Repair Garage
Story 1: Lemmon family owners in the 1930s (see deeds).  Catherine Lemmon was born in Ireland in 1820 and died 19 April 1899.  R. Lemmon was born in Pennsylvania in 1822 and died 2 July 1905.  William Lemmon was born in 1861 and died 25 April 1900, killed on the Railroad.  Charles Lemmon was born 2 February 1872 and died 13 December 1932, aged 60 years, Monroe (Evans) Funeral Home.  They are all buried in Section 10 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford, OH.  (see deeds)
Story 2: Information from Bill Krummert Sr., owner of BP:  the gas and service station (Sohio and later BP) is listed at 620 Wooster.  It was next door to the flower shop.  A restaurant, Holke Food Center, and parking lot were located where the Service Station is now.  Both properties were owned by Oscar Ziegler.  
  Bill Krummert Sr. graduated from Terrace Park School in 1949 and then went into the Service.  He grew up in the house on Indian Hill, (9200 Indian Hill Road) just past the old Iuen home.   Addison Maupin Jr. lives there now (2000), the 2nd house on the right after you turn left on Indian Hill Road at 800.  Bill worked at the Iuen Dairy Farm through High School.  He remembers that they milked 30 cows continuously there by hand.  At that time Henry Schmidt rented the Iuen Dairy Farm.  A Schmidt daughter, Agnes Goshee, lives in Clermont County (Owensville?).  It was probably in the early 1950s that the Iuen Dairy Farm ceased to be.  (see Oral Histories)
Story 3: In the 1950s Bill Krummert with Jack Williams (son of Mrs. Frances Williams of 906 Miami) started a new service station in Plainville on Wooster Pike at Walton Creek.)  (From Stan Miller's 1950s scrapbook.)
