The Hawkes added porches on the back of the house according to Dick Hildbold.  They were aided in this by William Henry Bosse (d 1930) who was Dick Hildbold's mother's father, Dick's grandfather.  2000 permit for Robert & Cynthia Hudzik to make an "addition - extend family room in back (east toward the Little Miami River where the deck now stands) - enlarge room for more comfortable living.  Steve McCord contractor.  Adam Luginbill architect.

Description: 1 1/2 story Cottage, sidling, gable with dormer. 
Story 1: Louella (nee Bosse) Hawke was Dick Hildbold's aunt.  His mother, Gladys, was her sister.  George Hawke was a lawyer and (according to Novita Hildbold), 822 Floral, quite an agitator.  Louella was an early Terrace Park Woman's Club member.
Story 2: George S. Hawke was born 23 October 1879 and died 19 February 1955, aged 75 years, buried in Section 20 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH, Craver Funeral Home.  Mrs. George S. (Louella) Hawke died 29 July 1975, aged 93.  Their only child, a son, died not too long after his father.  Then she moved away.
Story 3: Hudson Biery died in 1967 in Scottsburg IN
Story 4: According to his obituary in the Cincinnati Enquirer, Robert Hudzik was a poet and librarian at the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.  He was head of the library's films and recordings department for moré than 20 years.    Robert Hudzik died 11 June 2009.
