Stories:

Story 1: The house and barn were part of the Kaiser's homestead called Orchard Hill, so named to reflect the orchard on the hillside. Mr. Kaiser sold fruit at a roadside stand and raised hogs and sheep on the property. Also had chickens.
Story 2: In the 1950s he constructed 9 hotel cottages below the orchard and called them Orchard Hill Modern Motel. The Porters gave the structures (8 small cabins or cottages) to the Terrace Park Fire Dept in 1987 to use as practice demos. (see 850 Wooster) Pictures in Fire Dept. file.
Story 3: Frederick Kaiser was born 27 December 1891 and died 28 January 1977, aged 85 years. Minnie M. Kaiser was born 26 May 1897 and died 4 June 1966, aged 69 years. They are both buried in section 20 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH, Craver Funeral Home.
