Virginia Roose died 18 August 1976. Robert Dewey Roose was born 7 May 1907 and died 3 August 1992, aged 85 years, buried Blancester IOOF Cemetery (urn). |

September 1914 and died 23 April 2001, aged 86 years. Lawrence B.
Hobson was born 24 September 1915 and died 4 November 2002, aged 86 years.
They are both buried in St. Thomas Church Columbarium, section 1, Niche 9,
Evans Funeral Home.
Dr. Lawrence B. Hobson received his A.B. at the University of Arkansas in 1937, his Ph.D. in Zoology at the University of Cincinnati in 1941 and his MD at the University of Chicago in 1943. In the pharmaceutical industry he worked in various national and international capacities, culminating in the positions of Medical Director of E.R. at Squibb and Sons and Director of Corporate Medical Research for Schering-Plough. During his tenure with The Veterans Administration in Washington DC, Dr. Hobson oversaw Agent Orange research, Emergency Management, and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Hobson served on the staff at New York Hospital, Bellevue Hospital New York City and The Veterans Administration Medical Center, Washington DC. He was associate Professor of Medicine at Cornell University Medical Center and George Washington University. (Obituary at TP Historical Society - Cin Enquirer?) |
