Story 1: |
Information from Jim Flynn (709 Myrtle) - Agnes Flynn,
Jim's great grandmother was the first owner (?)
of 903 Elm. He thinks that house may have been built as an investment
since she and her husband, John, built and lived in a large home at 902
Center Street in Milford. Evidently there were earlier owners so Jim's
great grandmother didn't build it. We don't know why they bought this
house. For rent? |
Story 2: |
From Bobby Reuter's baby book: He attended Mrs. McIntosh's (McEntush's)
Kindergarten here in 1929-30. Other attendees were Chas. Davis, Eppa
Rixey, Margaret Alice Jones & Lorna Critchell. |

Story 4: |
It looks as if this home may have been rental property until the Stegemeyers bought it,
since the Meyers lived at 203 Cambridge. The Stegemeyers may have
rented it at first. The deeds show the McEntush and Flynn ownership.

Story 5: |
Margie Thomas, an Anderson Township genealogist and relative of the
Stegemeyers, furnished family information about Pearl. Her

had a sister, Clara Belle, and a brother, William Addison. Pearl and
