Story 1: | Alan McAllister was born in Kansas 15 February 1927, died in Cincinnati OH 4 November 2013 and is buried in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati OH. Employed by Proctor and Gamble for 36 1/2 years, he was a founder of the Cincinnati Area Senior Services and its first president. He was a man of many interests including traveling, sailing, playing clarinet (especially in the Terrace Park band and orchestra), reading and learning new things. He worked on the committee to get Ellis Rawnsley's book A Place Called Terrace Park published. In the very early days of this site, he worked tirelessly behind the scenes getting needed information from the county sites before they were easy to use. |
