originally bought a 75 ft. lot. Later they bought 150 more ft. (110
Miami lot) but
sold 100 ft. keeping 50 ft. for a present total of 125 ft.
lot. Raymond K. Stoecklin was born 9 December 1909 and died 7 December 1997, aged 88 years, buried in St. Thomas Church Columbarium, Section 6, Niche 156. (Another source says he died 17 December) His brother, Edward, died 10 March 1967. Verona Burger was their sister. Shirley( nee Stoecklin) Bingham (a Stoecklin daughter) was born 9 September 1934 and died 14 June 2004, aged 69 years, buried in St. Thomas Columbarium, Section 6, Niche 166, Eastland Funeral Home. Carol (nee Stoecklin) Peterson (a Stoecklin daughter) died Marie Stoecklin died 27 May 2010, aged 102. |
Story 2: | Marie was known for high standards, beautiful sewing at St. Thomas Church (including work for the Bazaar), gardening (especially roses), cooking, generosity and caring (trained as a nurse). A few of her words to live by: "It will work out"; "We'll get through this"; "A new day will come"; "It's in God's hands". |
