Description Of Changes: 1974 - Nancy Sachs enlarged the back porch and enclosed it as a family room and added a deck. 1985 - new kitchen and 2nd floor addition. Asphalt driveway (Ken Bassett). 1988 - Bassetts added to the side of the house and enlarged the kitchen (floor plan/blue print attached to permit). 1996 - permit for the Bassetts to enclose the front porch to create a foyer (Stephen Brown, architect; Bassett Dev. Inc., contractor). 2002 - permit for Ken Bassett to add a small sun room to the left rear of the home (Mallory homes, contractors, J. Stawicki, architect).

Story_5: Kenneth Burrett Bassett was born 20 January 1931 and died 17 April 2009, aged 78 years, buried in St. Thomas Columbarium, Section 1, Niche 33, Evans Funeral Home. Ken Bassett went into the Navy right out of High School. He was stationed at what was built as the Tome School for Boys (Jacob Tome Institute)in Port Deposit MD and was there as a young officer from 1956-59. It became a large recruit training center.
Robert Sach's mother, Anna Mary King Sachs, died in May 1978, aged 72 years. Bob's father, Milton Sachs, died December 26 1978.
