Story 1:
***Early information about this house was learned from
the daughters of John & Cordula Boysen when they were making a
scrapbook for their father on his 90th birthday. Evidently the
Boysens bought this house new from the builder. They added the
bedroom above the garage. "Karen's and my bedroom a** the only
one I remember being in, so I would assume that it was added shortly
after we moved in ('48 or '49). The two-car garage was added later
by someone else. The one car garage was then apparently made into
some sort of room, but when we lived there, it was home to our big old
blue Buick, the finest of cars on the road. Can't remember if they
enclosed the porch or not, but somehow, I don't think so. I just
remember the porch. That white fence wasn't there when we were
either. Just a fence that enclosed part of the back yard and that
out building to keep in Pete (my brother) and Brownie, our Irish Setter,
and Pete's best buddy and protector. Oh--and the front door was NOT
bright red. What a pity. There was a small breakfast nook in
the back, off of the kitchen with built-in table and dark red booths like
in a restaurant."%%%

forgot to put in a septic tank. Thus it had to be put in underneath
a sidewalk (story from Patti Normile). I don't know if it's still
