Description Of Changes: 1948 - dramatic changes by Curtis (see copies at the TP Historical Society of very interesting clippings: Cincinnati Post, June 14, 1949 and a national magazine, perhaps Good Housekeeping - copies in house note book). 1978 - H. J. Kauffman installed aluminum siding.
Stories:
Story 1: Originally Huber's honeymoon cottage, changed dramatically in 1948 (Curtis) by raising the ground around the house. Huber built several other homes in Terrace Park: 601 Stanton, 807 & 810 Myrtle, (all near this home), and their later home at 800 Elm.Story 2: Harry John Kauffman was born 19 October 1924 and died 19 June 2009, aged 85 years, Craver-Riggs Funeral Home. Bethany Rounds Kauffman was born 29 December 1925 and died 2 August 2003, aged 77 years. They are both buried in St. Thomas Church Columbarium Section 7, Niche 204.
