Stories:
Story 1: April 1967 - It was reported that Burford Simpson of Nelson Tree Service was interested in removing vacant cabin #45 along Elm Road for material. The solicitor suggested an agreement.Story 2: 1967 - cottages burned by the Terrace Park Fire Department.
Story 3: The Village of Terrace Park bought the Miami Grove cottages plus the Elm Ledge area from Alvin Hodges. The Village put three upper Ledge lots up for open bid. Ferd Critchell and Norval Julnes were the successful bidders.
Story 4: Arthur Wiseman died of leukemia on June 5, 1952, age 10. Fifty three years later classmates of Arthur at Terrace Park Elementary are gathering as a team to do The Wiseman Walk with the Light the Night event on Thursday Sept. 22 6-9:30 pm for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Wiseman Walk team was inspired by the Terrace Park Historical Society's March 6 event entitled Miami Grove Revisited. (more in the archives, People File or Miami Grove)
Story 5: 2009 - Wallace Wiseman, father of Arthur and Max died on 11 December 2008 at 90 years old. His wife, Hazel was still living at 93 years old.
Story 6: Rolla A. Loving was born 10 March 1902 and died 12 August 1954, aged 52 years, buried in Section 19 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH, Monroe Funeral Home.
