Description: 2 story Victorian Cottage, siding, gable roof. 
Story 1: The original house was built after 1860 probably by Sumner Pierce & Marietta S. Bacon, great grandparents of Helen Barnett.  When the daughters married they lived at 203 Cambridge (Blanche Anna m. Charles A. Meyers) and 209 Cambridge (Emma Lusena m. William Christopher).
  Certificate of Transfer.  From Probate Court, Hamilton County OH.  Jane E. Bacon (daughter of Sumner P. & Marietta Bacon) died testate June 10, 1958.  Will filed June 20, 1948.  Admitted to Probate June 30, 1948, filed in Will Book 367, page 270.  Dorothy M. Rixey appointed executrix of the estate of Jane E. Bacon.  Real Estate (in TP, OH, Section 23, Fractional Range 2, Township 5, Columbia Township, Hamilton County OH, part of Camden City).  Listed to inherit parts of real estate: George R. Bacon, Maritta G. Cobb, Jack Christopher, Helen Christopher, Dorothy M. Rixey, Janet M. Hopple, Owen S. Bacon and George L. Bacon.  
  Affidavit for Transfer of Real Estate.  Marietta M. Bacon Decd. to George R. Bacon Et al.  Marietta M. Bacon died intestate in or about the year 1910.  Title to real estate presently vested as follows: George R. Cobb, Maritta A. Cobb, Pearl Christopher, Jack Christopher, Helen Christopher, Janet Hopple, Dorothy M. Rixey, John N. Gatch and Central Trust 7 Tr. u/w Chas A. Meyers decd.  
Story 2: Information from records at Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH.  Sumner P. Bacon was born in Newberry VT 7 June 1830 and died 19 May 1918, aged 87 years, buried in Section 15 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH.  Sarah Inez Bacon was born 15 November 1857and died 29 August 1924, aged 66 years, buried in Section 15 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH.    There's also a Bacon infant born and died 10 August 1904, buried in Section 2 of Greenlawn Cemetery.  Is she a member of this family? 
Story 3: Information from Ancestry.com (Albert Anson Applebee's tree):  Sumner Pierce Bacon was born 6/7/1830 in Putney, Windham VT.  He died 19 May 1918 in Terrace Park.  His parents were Timothy Reed Bacon (1798-1895; residence 1860, 1870 & 1880 Haverhill, Grafton NH.  Sumner married Mariah Marietta Stebbins (1833-1910), 10 August 1856 in Grand Rapids, Kent MI, age 26.  1860 residence was Grand Rapids, Ward 4, Kent MI.  Residences 1880, 1900, 1910: Columbia, Hamilton OH.    Their children were: Sarah Inez (1857-1924);  Emma Lusena (1860-1928), m. William Christopher (209 Cambridge); Charles Sumner (1867-    );   Blanche Anna (1869 -     ), m Charles A. Meyers (201 Cambridge); George Reed (1873-1966); and Jennie Eudora
 (1875-    ). 
Story 4: Occupants listed in the 1909 Williams' Hamilton County Directory:  Blanche A. Bacon stenographer;  Geo. R.; Sumner P. (Maritta M.) pig iron.
Story 5: At one time before this house was torn down and when it looked as if the bike trail would soon go through Terrace Park, Helen Barnett thought of buying it, fixing it up and running a Bed & Breakfast for bikers.
