Description Of Changes:    Street: Given Lane (formerly Highland St.) Name: Family: Kitel 1978 - Chester Augspurger erected a two car garage with second floor storage. 2000-01 - large addition and remodeling. Jay Moore contractor. R. J. Fields architect. 2003 - remodel kitchen, raise roof & floor in existing breakfast area - new exterior basement access (Helmick).  

Stories:

Story 1: James Mormor Davis was born in 1854 and died 24 February 1924, buried in Section 11 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH. His wife, Sophia Davis, (born c 1869) died 20 May 1956, buried in Section 11 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH, Monroe Funeral Home. Sophia lived here from 1916 to 1953, also owned land where now are 2 & 3 Given Lane, houses not yet built. There is also another Davis buried in section 11 of Greenlawn Cemetery: Galen Davis, born in Clermont County 23 February 1895 and died 22 February 1920, aged 25 years (probably another son - twin to Frank?). Herbert Eugene Davis, born 26 July 1909 and died 1 February 1988, aged 78 years, Craver-Hookom Funeral Home is in Section 18 and may not be in the same family. Is William Davis at 714 Wooster Pike in the same family (also in Section 11)?
Story 2: Catherine Siebert died 20 January 1956, buried in Section 19 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH, Monroe Funeral Home (see deeds)..
Story 3: Les Overway thought this home was built in 1840. Unlikely. See deeds.
Story 4: Sally Augspurger is the daughter of James L. and Mary L. Chapman of 614 Floral, Terrace Park. She was born 1 July 1935 in Cincinnati and died 1 August, 2012. She is a 1953 graduate of Terrace Park High School. In January 1954 she married Ches Augspurger. Having lived in Terrace Park up to 1995, she and Ches then moved to Central Lake, Michigan where she died. Survivors are James and Nancy Chapman, husband, Ches, children Kirk, Andy, John Agspurger and Amy Sandman, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
