Story 1: According to Virginia Critchell, widow of Robert, he designed the original house which was 1 floor with a bay window. It was later remodeled into a 2 story house looking not at all like the original.
Story 2: Theodore Krekeler was born 27 May 1904 and died 14 April 1955, aged 50 years, buried in Section 19 of Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford OH, Monroe Funeral Home.
Story 3: Betty Kniffen was born 16 Sept 1911 and grew up at 211 Amherst Avenue with her brother, Frank Jr., and their parents, Frank & Ina Payne. Betty died 1 May 1990 and is buried at Spring Grove Cemetery along with her husband and daughter, Sally. Joe Kniffen was born 8 Mar 1908 and died 11 Mar 1981.
Story 4: Marguerita (nee Fuller) Lillard was born in Ohio 18 Sep 1926 and died in Ohio 12 Aug 2000, aged 73 years. Her mother's maiden name was Leblond.

Sandra Ratcliff Caswell was born April 14, 1936 in Chicago IL and died April 26 2025, after a lengthy decline suffering with Lewy Body Dementia. Her husband, Fred, died in 2019.
