Story 1: Robert Town and his first wife lived there many years. I don't know if they built it. They lived there in 1952/53. (Leslie Jones) According to the deeds they were not the first to live there.
Story 2: Douglas Starr Cherry was born 12 June 1931 and died 30 April 2005, aged 73 years, buried in St. Thomas Columbarium Section 6, Niche 168, Craver-Riggs Funeral Home. His son, Douglas MacMillan Cherry, was born 2 April 1963 and died 11 September 2001 (in the World Trade Center) , aged 39 years, buried in St. Thomas Columbarium, Section 6 Niche 167, Craver-Riggs Funeral Home.
