Description Of Changes:   1967 - William Ferriel added aluminum siding (M. H. Brigger, contractor). 1993 - permit for Doug & Jane Bosse to add a dining room, master bedroom, bath and screen porch (Mark McConnel, architect; Keffer Construction).

Story 1: Cincinnati Enquirer, January 1, 2009. Lives Remembered. Catherine Ferriel active in Scouts. Pro's wife a good golfer. By Rebecca Goodman. Catherine Kay Ferriel, wife of William Zip Ferriel, the former golf pro and general manager of the Camargo Club, died Dec. 15 in Largo, Fla. She was 89. Mr. Ferriel worked at the Camargo Club from 1935 until 1976. He gave golf lessons to former Ohio Gov. Bob Taft. Before their marriage in 1939, Mrs. Ferriel was a social worker for the Ohio Division of Blind Services. She was a volunteer coordinator for the Cincinnati and Miami Valley Girl Scout Council and a Cub Scout den mother. She was active in the PTA and did charity work at St. Thomas Church in Terrace Park. She was also involved with the Terrace Park Players. A good golfer, Mrs. Ferriel played primarily at Terrace Park Country Club and O'Bannon Creek Golf Club in Loveland. She also bowled several 600+ series and was a master bridge player. Born on Jan. 30, 1919, in Livingston, Ky., she graduated from Withrow High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. She and her husband retired to Englewood, Fla. in 1986. Survivors include her husband, of Largo, Fla.; two sons, Dennis Ferriel of Naples, Fla., and Roger Ferriel of Baker City, Ore.; a daughter, Kathleen Ferriel of St. Petersburg, Fla. and a grandson. Services have been held. Memorial gifts are suggested to The Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
