Stories:

Story 1: FOR SALE OR TRADE - 10 room house at Lerado, Ohio. Good condition, 2 acres of ground well fenced. Garage, summer kitchen, chicken and wood house, cistern inside, well outside. Corner property. Good location for barbecue, etc. I would like to trade in on Milford or Terrace Park property. M. Van Frank, Lerado, O. This article appeared in The Milford Record, May 13, 1926. It seems unlikely that Milton Van Frank found the trade he was looking for because the King family who were here before the Van Franks lived here while their house at 614 Floral was being built. Thus they did not move to Laredo. The Van Frank family was at this Stanton Avenue address by 1927. E. C. Schrieber was a builder so it seems logical that Schreiber built the house and that the King family bought from Schrieber.
Story 2: The Harry E. & Mary Ellis King family lived here while their house at 614 Floral was being built. The deeds show that thy owned it rather than rented as was formerly thought.
