Story 1: Doug Spreen graduated from Mariemont HS in 1987 where he served as a student trainer for the football team. He graduated from Indiana University majoring in athletic training/sports medicine. His first job in sports was with the Cincinnati Reds as assistant trainer starting in 1991. In 1995 he was hired as a trainer with ATP (Association of Tennis Players). In 2004 he is leaving ATP to be the personal trainer of Andy Roddick, the No. 1 ranked tennis player in the world.
