Stories:
Story 1: Walter Gingrich built many Terrace Park homes including this one for his family.Story 2: The house as originally built by Walter Gingrich had an unusual feature in that a second garage in the right front of the house was designed to look like a part of the main house rather than a garage. When the house was built by Walter for himself, it was unusual for a family to have more than one car and more than a one car garage. Walter often drove a business truck and was self conscious about parking it in front of the house. So he built a disguised second garage. The garage was rather easily converted into a room in 1981 by the Lowrys. (Peter Lowry)
Story 3: Walter Gingrich died March 16, 1971. Vera Mae Gingrich died 19 December, 1992, aged 87 years, buried Graceland Cemetery, Miami Township, Clermont County OH.
