Stories:

Story 1: I believe the 1935 Hamilton County Auditor's date for the building of this house must be wrong since Clifford and Laura Resor with their son, Clifford, appear to be in this house in the 1930 census. Laura Resor bought the land in 1928.
Story 2: Constance Mandell Burtis was born 4 April, 1920 and died 12 June 1988 in the Dayton OH area, aged 68 years. She is buried in Buffalo NY. Her husband, William I. Burtis, was born 30 January 1926 and died 28 February 2005, aged 79 years. Their son, William Wib I. Burtis Jr., was born 21 July 1947 and died 14 November 1989 in California, Memorial Service at St. Thomas Episcopal Church 24 November 1989. Husband and son are both buried in the St. Thomas Columbarium, Section 9, Niche 250.
