Stories:

Story 1: Are many of those listed in phone books actually renters?
Story 2: The March 2013 TP Historical Society program included a section by Jeff McGowan on Edgewater where he has lived about 30 years. He evidently did an excellent job and had talked with many long time and former residents to learn more. The great part is that he plans to continue researching the area so should be an excellent source of Edgewater information. Evidently Henry L. Leaf bought the area from John Kugler in 1846 for $6000. It belonged to the Leaf family until 1924. For many years there were summer cottages there and the Edgewater Club House.
