Story 1: The house sits on former Robinson Circus property. Tillie's grave marker is between 3 & 1 Circus Place, although it isn't clear where Tillie is buried. Next to the garage are the very heavy stone steps children used to climb to board Tillie. Mike Pope's mother and uncle rode her when they were children as did many others.
